In the morning attended Arul’s sedition case which has been postponed to 4th of March.
In the afternoon, accompanied orang asal from Perak together with Shashi Devan Sevan Doraisamy and Colin Nicholas to lodge report against police officers who refused to receive complaints from Orang Asal on an alleged gun shot incident involving Adun Kenering, Tarmizi bin Idris that occurred in a neighbouring village. Bukit Aman, tatatertib division promised that they will look into this matter and we hope they will walk the talk.
The police have no right to refuse to accept a police report and its clearly stated under section 107 of Criminal Procedure Code, that “A police officer shall be duty bound to receive any information in relation to any offence committed anywhere in Malaysia”.
